Non-Vented ear plugs are great for medical use – designed for patients (including children) with ventilation tubes in their ears. Persons with middle ear fluid (serious otisismedia) can use Doc’s Pro ear plugs to keep most water and debris (bacteria) out of the ear canal.

Vented plugs are recommended for those surfing due to the need to equalize you ears during and after wipeouts.
